Since 1994, Penny has devoted her career to specialized care in periodontics and prosthodontics. In 2002, she joined the University of British Columbia’s dental education community, supporting undergraduate and graduate students in becoming future oral health professionals. Currently pursuing a doctorate in Educational Leadership at UBC, Penny advocates for advancing evidence-informed practices, with a focus on innovative and proactive approaches to managing oral-systemic diseases. Her academic contributions include publications in peer-reviewed journals, and she is recognized nationally and internationally as a speaker, opinion leader, and advisor on various industry boards. Committed to community engagement, Penny volunteers in programs that support specialized and underserved populations. Through her center, Elevate Oral Health and Learning Centre, she empowers oral health professionals through advanced training and provides patients with individualized, proactive care in a supportive and inclusive environment.
