Dr. Davenport is the founder and owner of Advanced Endodontics of Chicago, a three-office private endodontic practice. Born and raised in the South suburbs of Chicago, he decided early on to pursue a career in dentistry while also cultivating his passion for the saxophone, attending Augustana College on a music scholarship and graduating summa cum laude with a major in Biology and a minor in Biochemistry. He went on to earn his DDS at the Harvard School of Dental Medicine, where he conducted research on the impact of autoimmune diseases such as lupus and multiple sclerosis on oral health. Dr. Davenport completed his residency in Endodontics at the University of Illinois at Chicago (UIC). In 2010, after several years in private practice, he founded Advanced Endodontics of Chicago, which has since grown to three locations across the Chicago area. Through teaching, mentorship, and outreach, he continues to share his passion for endodontics. Above all, Dr. Davenport values the doctor–patient interaction and its ability to connect people as the most rewarding aspect of his career. Outside of the office, he is an avid golfer, enjoys traveling, and lives in the western suburbs with his wife and four children.
