This comprehensive course is designed to introduce dental professionals to the foundational principles of Cone Beam Computed Tomography (CBCT) interpretation with a focused exploration of maxillofacial anatomy, common pathological conditions, and frequently encountered incidental findings. This course provides a structured, case-based approach to understanding normal anatomical variations, differentiating between benign and suspicious findings, and recognizing pathology relevant to general and specialty dental practices. Participants will gain practical insight into systematic image review, anatomic landmarks in the maxillofacial region including the jaws, maxillary sinuses and the TMJ and the diagnostic significance of incidental findings in the context of comprehensive patient care.

Learning Objectives:
Recognize common pathological conditions detectable through CBCT imaging, including odontogenic and non-odontogenic lesions, sinus pathology, and TMJ abnormalities.
