Dr. Kaori Ema is a Chicago-based dentist and Master of the Academy of General Dentistry who completed advanced residency training (AEGD-1) while serving in the United States Air Force. Her military training emphasized comprehensive care, complex treatment planning, and interdisciplinary collaboration in high-accountability clinical environments.
Following her service, Dr. Ema joined the faculty at the University of Illinois at Chicago College of Dentistry, where she mentored and trained future dentists in evidence-based, comprehensive care before founding her own private practice centered on health-focused and esthetic dentistry. She earned Fellowship in the Academy of General Dentistry (FAGD) in 2017 and achieved Mastership (MAGD) in 2023, demonstrating her commitment to ongoing learning and clinical excellence.
Dr. Ema approaches dentistry through a whole-person lens, integrating advanced clinical training with a deep understanding of facial harmony and functional longevity. She partners closely with her patients to elevate not only their smiles, but their health, confidence, and long-term outcomes.
