Volunteer Professor-Lead Prosthodontist

Dr. Ramtin Sadid-Zadeh, DDS, MS, is a volunteer Professor at the University of Alabama at Birmingham, School of Dentistry, and the Lead Prosthodontist at the ClearChoice Birmingham Center. His previous roles include Head of the Division of Prosthodontics and Associate Program Director for Postgraduate Prosthodontics at UAB School of Dentistry, as well as Dean of Digital Technologies at the School of Dental Medicine, University at Buffalo.
Dr. Sadid’s research interests focus on integrating digital technologies into patient care, dental education, and clinical practice. He is passionate about advancing the dental curriculum, teaching, and conducting cutting-edge research in digital dentistry.
He is a graduate of the 2022 cohort of the American Dental Education Association (ADEA) Leadership Institute. His academic credentials include a DDS from the University at Buffalo, a Master’s in Materials Science, a Certificate in Prosthodontics, and a Maxillofacial Prosthetics fellowship from the University of Alabama at Birmingham.
A recognized leader in digital dentistry, Dr. Sadid played a key role in developing the Digital Dentistry Curriculum at the American College of Prosthodontists (ACP). He has published extensively in peer-reviewed journals on topics related to digital dentistry, prosthodontics, and dental materials, and has authored a book chapter on digital techniques in Fixed Prosthodontics.
Dr. Sadid serves as a leader within both the American College of Prosthodontists and the American Academy of Fixed Prosthodontics.
