Steve D. Shufflebarger, DDS (he/him/his)

Dr. Steve Shufflebarger is director of the well-known Comprehensive Moderate Sedation Training Program through Miami Valley Hospital’s Department of Medical Education. He holds an adjunct faculty position at Jacksonville University and has taught sedation to graduate periodontology residents at UCSF for the past six years. An American Heart Association instructor, he trains providers in BLS, ACLS, and PALS. With privileges at three hospitals, Dr. Shufflebarger has also provided outpatient surgery and sedation services in his Beavercreek, Ohio office for more than 25 years. A sought-after speaker, he presents on sedation at hospitals, society meetings, dental schools, national conferences, a medical school, and residency programs.
