Dr. Pamela Maragliano is a board-certified prosthodontist who earned her certificate in Prosthodontics from the UCLA School of Dentistry after receiving her D.M.D. from Tufts University School of Dental Medicine. She began her dental career as a hygienist, earning her B.S.D.H. from Northeastern University and the Forsyth School for Dental Hygienists, along with an A.A.S. in Dental Hygiene and an A.S. in Math and Science from SUNY Orange in New York. Dr. Maragliano is the Chief Editor for Dental Economics, maintains her private practice at Salem Dental Arts in Salem, Massachusetts, and co-hosts the podcast Dentistry Unmasked. An internationally recognized lecturer, she is extensively published, including hundreds of videos and articles on DentistryIQ.com and dentaleconomics.com. Since receiving the American Dental Association’s Adult Preventive Care Practice of the Year Award in 2010, Dr. Maragliano has been a leading advocate for preventive care throughout her career. She is an active member of the American Dental Association, Massachusetts Dental Society, American College of Prosthodontists, American Board of Prosthodontics, American College of Dentists, American Academy of Fixed Prosthodontics, and the American Academy of Dental Sciences.
