Dr. Mike E. Calderón received his DDS Degree from the Dental School of Case Western Reserve in 1994. He then moved back to Brooklyn, New York. There, he did his General Practice Residency at Kings County Hospital from 1994 to 1995. Dr. Mike E. Calderón graduated from a 2-year program at the United States Dental Institute, where he received his certification in Orthodontics. Dr. Calderón also graduated from the 2-year NYU-CDE Implant and Prosthetic Program. He has an extensive education and expertise in implant dentistry, having placed more than 15,000 implants. He established a private practice in Suffolk County & Nassau County, Long Island, New York, where he provides advanced surgical and prosthetic phases of implant dentistry as well as non-surgical aesthetic procedures for his patients.
Dr. Mike E. Calderón lectures nationally and internationally on implant-related topics. He is the founder of Calderón Institute, Director of the Long Island MaxiCourse, Associate Professor of the Jacksonville University Master’s Program for Implantology and Facial Esthetics, and Faculty at the General Dentistry and Comprehensive Department at NYU.
Dr. Mike is a member of the Academy of General Dentistry (AGD), a member of the Academy of Osseointegration (AO), a fellow of the American Academy of Implant Dentistry (AAID), a Diplomat of the International Congress of Oral Implantology (ICOI), and a Diplomat of the American Board of Oral Implantology (ABOI).
