Dr. Kim Attanasi is a seasoned oral health professional, educator, international author, and researcher with more than three decades of experience advancing evidence‑based oral care. Since joining Haleon’s Medical & Scientific Affairs Oral Health team in 2021, she has contributed scientific leadership across clinical translation, professional education, and oral health innovation.
With over 31 years of clinical experience as a practicing dental hygienist, Dr. Attanasi brings a deep appreciation of real‑world patient needs to her scientific and educational work. She has served more than 14 years as both an adjunct and full-time Clinical Associate Professor at the New York University College of Dentistry, where she played a pivotal role in shaping curriculum, mentoring future dental professionals, and advancing community oral health outreach.
Dr. Attanasi is recognized internationally for her scholarly contributions, authorship, and research spanning public health, dental hygiene, oral-systemic health, and clinical innovation. Her work reflects a strong commitment to rigorous science and global knowledge‑sharing.
