Dr. Mark W. Lingen is a Professor of Pathology and Medicine at the University of Chicago Medicine. He is a graduate of Northwestern University Dental School. In addition, he completed his residency in Oral & Maxillofacial Pathology as well as a PhD in Cellular and Molecular Pathology at Northwestern Feinberg School of Medicine. Dr. Lingen is the Editor-in-Chief for the journal Oral Surgery, Oral Medicine, Oral Pathology Oral Radiology (Triple O). He is a Fellow of the American Academy of Oral & Maxillofacial Pathology, the American and International Colleges of Dentists, and the Royal College of Pathologists. Dr. Lingen is a Diplomat of the American Board of Oral & Maxillofacial Pathology. His NIH-funded research, which, focusses on several aspects of oral cancer, has resulted in more than 200 manuscripts and book chapters.
