William J. Nudera, DDS, MS (he/him/his)

Dr. William Nudera is a board-certified endodontist, author, educator, and mentor recognized for his conservative, efficiency-driven philosophy focused on preserving natural dentition. He earned his DDS from the University of Illinois at Chicago (UIC) College of Dentistry in 1999, receiving both the Ted Rosen Memorial Award for clinical excellence and the Humanitarian Award for compassion in patient care. Following graduation, Dr. Nudera served in the U.S. Air Force Dental Corps, where he completed an Advanced Education in General Dentistry residency and participated in global humanitarian missions. For his service, he was awarded the National Defense Service Medal during Operation Enduring Freedom and named Air Force Dental Officer of the Year in 2002. He later returned to UIC to complete his Endodontic Specialty Certificate and Master’s in Oral Sciences. Dr. Nudera owns Specialized Endodontic Solutions and Highland Park Endodontics in the Chicago suburbs. He has published extensively, including in the Journal of Endodontics, contributed to 3D Imaging in Endodontics, and authored NuEndo: Rethinking Endodontics. He lectures nationally and internationally and continues to teach clinical endodontics at UIC. A Diplomate of the American Board of Endodontics, Dr. Nudera is dedicated to advancing dental education with practical, clinically relevant knowledge.
