Dugoni School of Dentistry in San Francisco, maintains a private practice in Walnut Creek, California, with a focus on aesthetic and functional dentistry. A former Course Director at the University of the Pacific, he has published extensively on restorative materials and protocol-driven dentistry. An Accredited Member of the American Academy of Cosmetic Dentistry, Dr. Schmedding lectures nationally and internationally on aesthetic, restorative, and adhesive dentistry, and collaborates with dental manufacturers to advance product development.
