Ben Tuinel is a nationally recognized expert in PPO fee negotiation and dental insurance strategy. His career began in 2007 while managing insurance operations for a 10-location group in Phoenix, where he improved collections from 65% to 98% and boosted insurance revenue by $1 million annually for just 10 general dentists. This success sparked demand from solo and group practices across the West. In 2009, Ben founded Optimum Dental Solutions, later rebranding to Veritas Dental Resources in 2014. Veritas has since become the leading firm in PPO fee negotiations and insurance optimization. Ben has worked with over 9,500 dentists, helping practices generate more than $6 billion in new revenue. He currently serves as President of Veritas Dental Resources and advises multiple state dental associations and professional groups. Now in his 29th year as a public speaker, Ben also serves on several dental boards and co-hosts the Navigating Dental Insurance and Insurance Untangled podcasts. He has authored over 800 articles and frequently contributes to industry publications such as "Dental Economics." His investigative work on unethical insurance practices has earned widespread recognition. Known as “The Authority” on PPO negotiations, Ben continues to help dentists reclaim control of their reimbursement and practice success.
