Megan Reutter, DHSc, RDH, has dedicated the last 15 years to improving oral health, beginning as a clinical hygienist in her rural community. Her professional growth led her to a broader calling to address systemic access to oral health services at a higher level. Currently, Dr. Reutter serves as the Executive Director of the Illinois Oral Health Coalition, where she drives initiatives to improve oral health outcomes for residents across Illinois. She is also an adjunct faculty member at Parkland College. Dr. Reutter’s expertise includes interprofessional collaboration and rural health. She furthers her advocacy work for medical-dental integration as a board member of the National Network of Healthcare Hygienists.
