This course will review the components of the optimal operatory. What are the things to be mindful of? Instruments, gloves, seating, loupes, and lighting. What to do? How to adjust? Resources and where to find them in the exhibit hall. I see this as an interactive opportunity between the lecture/audience and the show vendors in the exhibit hall. We will work in an operatory with the patient chair, assistant stool, and review the ergonomic checklist in real time.
There are so many components to the working dental operatory. Many of which put the practitioner at risk of ongoing, long-lasting discomfort and perhaps a risk to satisfying career longevity. This presentation will present a flyover of operatory equipment, set up, technique, time management & the ergonomic checklist. There is a lot of information packed into this presentation along with an opportunity to discuss individual concerns at the end.
Please download and print the handouts and bring them with you to the course.
