Posture is the foundation of the dental profession. Chronically bad posture can negatively impact the dental professional while slowly deteriorating the sleep-rest cycle, their ability to recover, and practice efficiently. As a result, the body’s stresses transition into pain, first intermittently, then chronically. Chronic pain can be the most serious threat to one’s professional longevity as well as technical competency. Are you at risk? Are your patients?!
This workshop will discuss types of pain: the good, the bad, and the dangerous. We will discuss typically accepted treatment options, unconventional treatment options, and conservative treatment options. The goal is to create a road map, when to seek care, where to seek care and develop a plan to return to a pain-free dental career.
