This program will demonstrate how to optimize clinical techniques with all-ceramic crowns under various situations. Ceramic material selection is discussed according to esthetic rendition, strength properties, and available restorative thickness. Emphasis will be placed on ceramics selection according to the clinical situation, tooth preparation requirements for optimum laboratory, cement selection, and step-by-step adhesive bonding techniques.
Learning Objectives:
Manage the clinical key factors for optimum success of all-ceramic crowns and FPD’s.
Manage risk factors and red flags and plan occlusion to maximize the longevity of allceramic restorations.
Select the appropriate ceramic system (lithium disilicate, translucent zirconia, or full- or multi-strength zirconia) based on the esthetics and functional needs of the case.
