This program will cover what Dentists need to begin the process of establishing a financial plan that will help them and their families to meet their long-term financial goals. The course will use the speaker's "Golden Rules of Financial Planning" as an outline and will start with a 35,000-foot view of a Dentist's income and expenses both in the practice and personally, which allows the Dentist to determine if there are excess funds to meet goals. With this as a foundation the course will discuss several important areas of financial planning including tax planning, how to determine how much is needed for retirement, proper planning for life and disability insurance needs, college education planning, investment planning and estate planning. The goal of the course is to be a call to action for Dentists who want to set a path for meeting their personal financial goals.
