This course will cover the financial metrics a Dentist should look at when managing their practice. The speaker will discuss how to use information from a practice dashboard to determine profit holes and opportunities to grow a practice. Items covered will include an evaluation of current active patients and their status in the practice, a review of proper hygiene department statistics and what they mean, how increasing patient visits can grow the top line, why the morning huddle is a game changer, and the effects of contracting with PPOs for the practice. The speaker will then cover the overhead of a practice, what proper overhead percentages should be, and what it means if they are too high or too low. The goal for the attendee is for them to take the information provided and to start monitoring the metrics and KPI's of the practice to increase practice profitability.
